Stella Nasiakou 
dance artist, performer, educator

Stella Nasiakou is the founder of the non-profit civil partnership pLaymOVE, a dancer, performer and kindergarten teacher, born in Serres in 1996. She studied Early Childhood Education at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Performing Arts, completing her studies in 2025 at the professional school Area Dansa in Barcelona. 

She has collaborated with cultural organizations, choreographers and educational institutions in Greece, such as ArCt Eleni Papaioannou, Ki Omws Kineitai Christina Sougioultzi, Present Being Performer Theater Aliki Doulmazer, Kunia Cultural Hub, Circus Drops, The Manzins Antonia Pitoulidou, Roes Cooperativa, Fougaro Art Center Nafplio, Elpidochori AMKE and others. In Barcelona she has collaborated with Tudanzas, Movimiento Factory, Patricia Hastewell, Diego Sinniger, Colectivo Big Bouncers, Ona Mestre, Quim Vilagran and others. 

From 2022 to 2025 she lived and worked in Barcelona, where she developed the pLaymOVE methodology, a series of movement workshops designed to empower and connect young and old through movement and play. There, as a performer and choreographer, she co-created the performances Frogs of SATURDAY, Sirenas, Pajaros, Entre Nosotras un Gorro which were presented at local festivals and theaters. 

Today she lives and works in Athens, continuing to develop her artistic and pedagogical practice, creating children's performances for schools and taking the playmove workshops to squares in the countryside and villages in collaboration with Municipalities and Cultural Associations, Municipality of Argithea and Municipality of Thessaloniki, making dance an intergenerational experience, accessible to all ages.
